In March 2018, I joined NomuHub's first ever Sustainability (Agriculture) Trip in Zanzibar. My fond memories from that trip are plenty: from singing Swahili songs all day and night, learning how to use different farming tools, as well as becoming one with nature.

Exploring the blue zone wouldn't be as fulfilling without Nomuhub! By connecting with local families and communities, the experience offered us a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in the Sardinian lifestyle, gaining a deeper understanding of the secrets to longevity and wellness!

The idea of travelling to a new country plus sharing your efforts and money for a good purpose there is fantastic and very satisfying! High five for such initiatives and for NomuHub who organised very SAFE trip to Bentota-Sri Lanka in May 2023. The food and accommodation were super good.
Esther
The trip was truly incredible! The Volunteering works were really touching my soul. I felt it gaves me a great opportunity to give back to this world but at the same time it helps to find myself along the way as well. I was very happy to be able to meet so many kind Cisconians /souls from different part of the world that inspired me in many ways. The organizers from Nomuhub were very organized, kind & genuine in person, you can always count on them as they're very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and down to earth, & you can't get any better than this. The entire trip was very smooth & excited, truly looking forward to the next trip with Nomuhub again. Last but not least, Kudos to Gyani, Roy & Zainab, as they're really amazing ! I felt blessed to be part of this NEPAL Building Volunteer trip and you gonna try it yourself ! :D

Accommodations
All the accommodations are in the heart of Stone Town, and are located within close proximity from each other. The furthest two points (Stone Town House and Park Hyatt hotel) are within 5 minutes walk from each other.
Our travelers will be accommodated in a twin room at Minara Miwili - Forodhani Park or a similar 3 star hotel.
We also offer 4 star and 5 star hotel upgrades with our accommodation partners, either in single room or twin-sharing basis. You may book these as add-ons in your booking process, but please note that confirmation of your reservation is subject to availability. During peak seasons in Zanzibar, it can be very difficult to secure a reservation so the earlier you book, the better.
Meals
There are many heterogeneous influences that are reflected in Zanzibar’s cuisine due to the multicultural nature that became a part of Zanzibar. The mixture of culinary traditions include Bantu, Arab, Portuguese, Indian, British and even Chinese cuisines.
The aim of this trip is to support the academic development and offer social care to orphaned children in Zanzibar. The aim of this trip is to leave a long lasting impression on the lives of orphans by providing them with much needed confidence and knowledge!
